Senior Manager-Quality HEDIS Forecast Analysis

A Brief Overview Leverages technology and data to improve healthcare outcomes by designing, implementing, and maintaining health information systems, analyzing healthcare data, and utilizing technology to support time-series modeling, machine learning, and MLOps practices. Applies expertise in healthcare and information technology to ensure efficient data management, promote data-driven insights, and enhance the delivery of healthcare services. What you will do • Build, optimize, and deploy forecasting models using time-series modeling, machine learning, and MLOps practices • Apply advanced modeling and statistical analysis to Healthcare Quality metrics spanning NCQA HEDIS measures and CMS Clinical Stars • Apply advanced statistical, machine learning, and deep learning methods (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, gradient boosting,) • Performs code reviews and enforces coding standards, based on company and industry requirements, across the development teams. • Identifies and mitigates technical risks, proactively addressing potential issues and challenges that may impact project success or data integrity. • Decides upon adoption of industry-standard data and advanced analytics capabilities by leveraging existing services and identifying industry-leading services. • Communicates complex analytical results to technical and non-technical leaders and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner to inform relevant parties of the developments within the Data Engineering department. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) designers, and business stakeholders, to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables. • Mentors data analysts, fostering their professional growth and technical expertise to identify skill gaps, subsequently providing training opportunities to enhance team capabilities. • Provides strong hands-on leadership and guidance to a team of data analysts and data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. • Contributes to a motivated work environment by working effectively to achieve common goals. • Under general direction, independently executes analyses and/or provides guidance to junior data analysts to meet business needs. For this role you will need Minimum Requirements • 7-10 years work experience • 4+ years of forecasting, or applied predictive modeling • 4+ years of experience building and deploying time-series forecasting models using methods such as ARIMA, Holt-Winters exponential smoothing • 4+ years of experience with Python and SQL for large-scale data processing • 3+ years of experience with MLOps tools and practices • Adept at problem solving and decision making skills • Adept at collaboration and teamwork • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills • Adept at business intelligence Education • Bachelor's degree in STEM, Statistics, Data Science or equivalent job experience. • Master’s degree (preferred) Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $106,605.00 - $284,280.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
