Job Overview As the Senior Manager - Customer Support, you will be responsible for leading the entire customer support operations, driving customer service excellence, and ensuring that support processes are designed with the customer's best interests in mind. You'll work closely with a talented team to deliver top-notch customer service, analyze customer feedback, and drive improvement measures. Key Responsibilities Own the Support Framework: Develop and implement customer service policies and standards for the department, ensuring that support processes are customer-centric and focused on long-term resolution. Lead and Motivate the Team: Head the Customer Support team, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to deliver excellent customer service and drive team performance. Customer Relationship Management: Manage and maintain customer relationships by addressing their needs promptly, handling complex and escalated customer service issues, and ensuring timely resolution. Data-Driven Improvement: Analyze customer service data to identify trends, drive improvement measures, and optimize support processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience, aligning support processes with business objectives. Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on team performance, customer feedback, and key metrics, highlighting areas for improvement. Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging customer service strategies, and best practices to continuously improve customer support operations. The Ideal Candidate To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in customer service, preferably in the SaaS space, with a minimum of 8 years of overall experience and at least 3 years in a managerial role. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential. Essential Qualifications 8+ years of experience in a customer service role within the SaaS space. 7-10 years of experience in technical support, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with companies like Freshdesk, Zendesk, or similar is highly preferred. Preferred Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven improvement. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
