Summary We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and strong consulting experience. In this role, you will lead technical solutioning for nonprofit organizations while also supporting implementations across a broader range of client industries. This position blends strong Salesforce platform knowledge with a consultative and adaptable mindset. You will be responsible for designing scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions, leading implementation projects across multiple cloud products, and working directly with clients to ensure business objectives are met. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and a solid understanding of nonprofit operations and data models. Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Professional Experience • 5+ years of Salesforce consulting and implementation experience • Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions within nonprofit organizations • Demonstrated success in client-facing roles such as Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Consultant Soft Skills • Strong consultative and client-focused mindset • Ability to translate nonprofit business needs into scalable technical solutions • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills • Adaptability in fast-paced, multi-project environments • Clear, confident communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences Required Skills • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including: -Configuration and declarative customization -Automation using Salesforce Flows -Integration best practices • Hands-on implementation experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a consulting environment • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to business stakeholders • Ability to work across disciplines and adapt to unfamiliar technologies or nonprofit business processes Key Responsibilities • Lead solution discovery and technical design across Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and additional Salesforce clouds • Translate complex nonprofit business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions • Facilitate discovery sessions, lead design workshops, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout project delivery • Oversee and participate in build and quality assurance activities to ensure architectural integrity • Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams and external nonprofit clients • Mentor internal team members and contribute to technical standards and best practices • Demonstrate strong passion for Salesforce solutions and foster collaboration across project teams Preferred Qualifications • 2+ years of experience working with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Shield (highly desirable) • Strong understanding of the nonprofit industry, including: -Fundraising and donor management -Grant management -Volunteer and program management -Sales and Service CRM for nonprofit organizations • 2+ years of experience working directly within the nonprofit sector • Exposure to additional Salesforce cloud products, including Agentforce • Experience working in agile delivery models and consulting environments • 2–3 Salesforce certifications, such as: -Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant -Experience Cloud Consultant -Data Cloud Consultant -Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional -Health Cloud Accredited Professional -Education Cloud Consultant -Agentforce Specialist -Salesforce Architect certifications At Growth Acceleration Partners, we're an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
