The Project/Program Management Lead Consultant will independently lead complex programs and projects, driving cross-functional technology implementations across Claims lines of business while ensuring stakeholder engagement and project success. Responsibilities • Motivates others to share in project challenges and inspires them to achieve project goals while constructively evaluating their performance • Delivers project communication on complicated projects and issues in an easily understood, simplified style to any audience • Delivers project results through leadership and influence rather than authority and control; leverages organizational dynamics to influence outcomes through leadership and communication skills • Drives achievement of projects/program success factors • Engages appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation • Represents the projects/program and its objectives in all governance and gating forums • Customizes solutions for complex issues typically involving enterprise-level considerations • Drives project execution and provides direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle to meet applicable business requirements • Directs strategic projects/programs of high complexity and impact • Manages high-complexity projects independently with no support or direction from others Skills • Prior experience in program and project management, including end-to-end planning and execution • Proven ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and multiple workstreams across large-scale initiatives • Experience leading strategic, enterprise-level projects with high complexity and impact • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and influence outcomes • Expertise in risk management, governance, and stakeholder engagement • Ability to simplify complex issues and communicate effectively to diverse audiences • Skilled in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and customizing solutions for enterprise-level challenges • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices • Prior experience in claims is a plus but not required Company Overview • Allstate is an insurance company that offers car, home, and life insurance services.
