Remote, F5 / Google Cloud Platform Network Engineer/LTM/GTM
Are you ready to architect the future of cloud networking? We're seeking a Fully Remote F5 Cloud Network Engineer to join a well known national company. This full-time opportunity focuses on cutting-edge network architecture, specifically in F5 LTM/GTM and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) network infrastructure. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, including F5 LTM and GTM • Strong hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting F5 BIG-IP environments • Proven experience building and managing Google Cloud Platform cloud network architectures • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, SSL offloading, and firewall concepts • Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and advanced traffic management • Strong scripting or automation background (Python, Terraform, etc. is a plus) • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in a fully remote team environment Desired Skills & Experience • F5 Certifications (e.g., F5-CA, F5-CTS) highly preferred • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Network Engineer) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks • Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud networking (Google Cloud Platform + AWS or Azure) • Exposure to container networking (Kubernetes, Istio) is a plus What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown • 50% F5 LTM/GTM Configuration & Optimization • 30% Google Cloud Platform Cloud Network Design & Buildouts • 10% Network Automation & Infrastructure as Code • 10% General Troubleshooting & Documentation Daily Responsibilities • 80% Hands-On Technical Engineering • 10% Design and Architecture Collaboration • 10% Project Coordination and Client Interaction The Offer • Bonus Eligible You Will Receive the Following Benefits: • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Paid Vacation Time • Stock Options Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis now and in the future.
