The Disaster Dispatch and Recovery Agent role focuses on supporting disaster survivors by answering calls, collecting data, and providing resources and referrals to those in need. Responsibilities Answer and handle calls using job-specific tools Collect, verify, and log accurate data such as name, phone number, address, dates, and caller issues Determine caller needs through active listening and probing questions Provide valid resources and referrals using system tools Fill out or provide client links for financial assistance pre-eligibility applications After 30 days, learn to create and review client cases, assist with escalations, and handle payment issues Skills Excellent verbal communication skills including correct grammar, pronunciation, tone, and pitch Ability to remain poised under pressure and handle back-to-back calls Empathy for callers' frustrations or concerns and ability to resolve issues timely Calm, compassionate, and resourceful demeanor under pressure Attention to detail and multitasking ability while navigating multiple programs Proficient and accurate computer use Ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly Legal authorization to work in the United States Ability to pass a criminal background check (paid by employer) Genuine desire to help others regardless of circumstances Strong listening and communication skills Respect for diversity and commitment to treating all people with dignity Documentation, data entry, organization, and problem-solving skills preferred Benefits Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance Paid mandatory orientation and training sessions conducted virtually Opportunity to positively impact lives through meaningful work Company Overview RemoteHunter is your dedicated AI job search assistant, turning the job hunt from a slow, individual effort into a quicker, smarter, and guided experience by streamlining each step of the process and speeding up your path to the right career opportunities.
