About the position Responsibilities • Speak with consumers over the phone to connect with individuals experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues. • Build rapport and engage clients effectively during calls. • Assess and mitigate risk while managing documentation during calls. • Provide available resources or information needed for clients. • Identify safe and positive coping strategies and develop safety plans with clients. • Perform emergency interventions as necessary. • Remain calm and professional while multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year accredited college or university. • 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health/Social Services, including internships.
