Remote Corporate Accountant - Texas Based - Up to $70,000/year

Position Description: Job Title: Corporate Accountant Company: Summerfield Real Estate Group Location: Remote - Texas Pay Rate: $70,000/year. Key Responsibilities: As a Corporate Accountant at SREG, your responsibilities will require you to: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP. Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper coding of transactions. Assist in preparing schedules and documentation for external audits and tax filings. Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support management with financial reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls. Payroll System/User Administration Office Administration Executive Support Other Duties as Needed Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. 25 years of corporate accounting experience, ideally focused within Real Estate & Property Management with QuickBooks Online Advance ERP and/or QuickBooks Enterprise accounting system and ideally exposure to software applications such as AvidXchange, LastPass, & Asana. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Payroll Certifications preferred Team Player You must have your own hardware and internet service You must have a dedicated workspace This position is a split work from home and hybrid in the local office.
