OVERVIEW Salescloser.ai is looking for a QA Specialist, a detail-oriented and analytical professional passionate about ensuring excellence in every release, to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a fully remote position, and the successful individual could be based anywhere in the world. This role is instrumental in developing test processes, analyzing test results, and maximizing the effectiveness of new releases. In collaboration with the Product Development Department, the QA Specialist is responsible for the success of Salescloser.ai. RESPONSIBILITIES • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and cases • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities • Design, develop and improve test processes, including setting up test environments and tools, to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of release test cycles • Design, develop, execute test cases, analyze results and create test reports to track results • Identify, record and document bugs • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved • Work with the Development Team to collect software requirements and update test cases • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Application (Hardware & Software) support and troubleshooting • Extensive knowledge and experience dealing with processes, methods and standards in the area of software testing and quality • Solid understanding of common browsers and the Windows operating system • Experience with manual/exploratory testing and agile software QA • Experience with common developer tools and HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Ruby on Rails • A degree or diploma that contributes to the organization is considered an asset • Must be detail-oriented, creative and have a passion for helping clients achieve their goals • Self-motivated with the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships through a client-first mentality • As part of a diverse team, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively • Must be technical, analytical, results-driven and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Organized, great time management and have solid writing, phone, and general communication skills • Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset • Willing to participate in ongoing education and training for the role WORK ENVIRONMENT • Given the nature of this role, it is expected that the successful candidate will provide their own workstation, computer, headset, and have a fast and reliable internet connection. This position may be required to download and utilize company software. • The individual must be prepared to work standard business hours on EST or PST. • Due to the nature of this role, we may verify backgrounds, including conducting employment reference, criminal record and credit checks. • Once hired, the successful candidate must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of residential address as part of their onboarding process.
