About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our Salesforce development team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of our Salesforce applications by designing, executing, and automating tests. Working within a fast-paced agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to maintain seamless and error-free releases. What you'll do Testing & Validation: Develop, execute, and maintain functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests for Salesforce solutions. Automation: Build and maintain test automation frameworks, focusing on Salesforce-specific tools and integration with Copado and Azure DevOps . Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the agile process. Bug Tracking & Resolution: Identify, log, and track defects using Azure DevOps , collaborating with developers to ensure timely fixes. Release Readiness: Conduct end-to-end testing in pre-production environments to ensure smooth deployments via Copado CI/CD pipelines. API & Data Testing: Validate API integrations and perform data migration testing to ensure data integrity across Salesforce environments. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and QA documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing. Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in testing processes and contribute to the enhancement of QA best practices. Qualifications Experience with Salesforce-specific automation tools (e.g., Provar or Test Automation in Copado). Knowledge of Performance Testing and Security Testing for Salesforce. Familiarity with Salesforce DX and version control practices. 3+ years of QA experience, preferably in a Salesforce development environment. Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other modules). Experience with Copado for release management and Azure DevOps for tracking. Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or similar Salesforce-compatible tools. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI). Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced sprints. Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
