Presentation Design Lead

We’re looking for a Presentation Design Lead to own and evolve the storytelling language of VAST: from our flagship keynote decks to sales narratives, executive communications, and our growing presentation library. This role is for a designer who thinks in systems, sweats the details, and understands how visual storytelling, design language, and narrative flow come together to shape perception and drive impact. Responsibilities: • Design end-to-end presentation experiences for VAST, from high-stakes keynote moments to scalable sales and marketing decks. • Develop and maintain a presentation design system and library that ensures consistency, beauty, and flexibility across hundreds of use cases. • Create compelling visual storytelling through layouts, data visualization, motion/animation, and narrative sequencing. • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, brand, and executives to ensure every deck reflects VAST’s design ethos and storytelling voice. • Partner with content teams to optimize presentations for clarity, persuasion, and audience engagement. • Push the craft forward: contribute new ideas, tools, and practices to elevate how VAST communicates visually. • Present work with clarity and passion — championing design thinking and inspiring stakeholders. Requirements • 7–10 years of experience in presentation design, visual storytelling, or related design roles, with a portfolio that demonstrates mastery of the medium. • A craftsperson’s eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy, and the ability to bring it all together in PowerPoint (nice to have: Google Slides familiarity). • Experience building and managing scalable presentation systems and asset libraries. • Strong command of data visualization and complex information design. • Comfort collaborating across disciplines — from executives to marketers — and translating abstract narratives into compelling visuals. • A growth mindset: you iterate, seek feedback, and push yourself to raise the bar with every project. • An inclusive and collaborative spirit — you know how to reconcile diverse inputs and guide teams toward great solutions. • A self-directed, critical thinker. • Works efficiently and finds ways to deliver results in tight turnarounds. • Appetite for learning and growing. • Excitement to be part of a team and collaborate to deliver amazing experiences. • Bonus: familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, or advanced data visualization tools.
