We are looking for a MDS Coordinator – RN – Registered Nurse. • $100K to $110K annually based on skills and experience. MDS Coordinator - Registered Nurse - RN Qualifications: • NY RN – Registered Nurse License • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an MDS nurse • AANAC certification and knowledge and trained in the following: • Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Reimbursement • PPS and OBRA Scheduling • CAA and Care Planning Process • Billing knowledge (Diagnosis Codes, UBO4, etc.) • QAA and QAPI Process • Nursing Clinical Assessment • Point Click Care • Skilled Nursing Facility Regulations and Compliance: Care WATCH, Infection WATCH and Risk WATCH MDS Coordinator - Registered Nurse - RN Job Summary: • Oversee all aspects of the Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Programs. • Maintain financial policies and procedures and direct staff in managing Medicare and Medicaid Cost reports. • Oversee the resident assessment team to ensure timely and accurate submission of assessments. • Collaborate with the Administrator and Director of Nursing, as well as to work with other department heads.
