As a venture studio, we leverage this talent network to rapidly develop and deploy portfolio applications with pre-secured distribution channels, capturing outsized returns through accelerated time-to-market. The Opportunity We're seeking a Managing Partner to join our founding team at a pivotal moment in our growth. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the future of a venture studio that's redefining how technical talent and non-technical innovators collaborate in the AI era. As Managing Partner, you'll drive our go-to-market strategy, build strategic partnerships, and help identify and develop promising venture opportunities. You'll work directly with our founding team to establish JBW as a leader in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-powered innovation. Who You Are A Strategic Networker : You have a robust network of relationships with decision-makers, investors, and innovators that you can leverage to create opportunities for JBW and its portfolio. A Business Development Leader : You have a proven track record of building partnerships, securing clients, or closing deals in technology, consulting, or venture capital. An Innovation Champion : You're passionate about the potential of AI and low-code to democratize software development and are excited to be at the forefront of this transformation. A Startup Builder : You thrive in early-stage environments and are comfortable with the ambiguity, rapid iteration, and resource constraints that come with building something new. A Collaborative Leader : You excel at working with diverse stakeholders, from technical experts to non-technical founders to potential investors. What You'll Do Drive Strategic Partnerships : Identify, pursue, and secure partnerships with key players in the AI, low-code, and venture ecosystems. Lead Business Development : Develop and execute our go-to-market strategy, focusing on high-value consulting engagements that can lead to venture opportunities. Shape Venture Strategy : Help identify promising venture opportunities and work with our ELITE network to rapidly validate and develop them. Represent JBW : Serve as a public face of the company at industry events, in investor meetings, and with potential partners. Build the Team : Help recruit additional founding team members and advisors who can accelerate our growth. Secure Investment : Work with the founding team to raise capital from strategic investors who can add value beyond funding. The Reality Check We're in the early stages of building JBW, which means: Initial compensation will be heavily weighted toward equity, with cash compensation growing as we hit revenue milestones. You'll need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats and working with limited resources. We're building something new, which comes with uncertainty and requires resilience. Ideal Experience While we value diverse backgrounds, experience in one or more of these areas would be particularly valuable: Enterprise software, SaaS, or consulting sales/business development Venture capital, angel investing, or startup advisory Technical community building or developer relations Corporate innovation, digital transformation, or automation Founding or early leadership roles at successful startups Also, if you happen to be someone with a strong network who already has a great deal of experience consulting.
