You’ll be at the center of our logistics operations—collaborating with terminal managers, carrier partners, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and results. 🌟 What You’ll Do Lead & Inspire : Supervise and mentor logistics staff, ensuring high performance and a collaborative team culture. Solve Problems Fast : Tackle transportation, system, and customer issues with confidence and speed. Drive Operational Excellence : Manage driver scheduling, truck coordination, and customer demand fulfillment with precision. Maximize Efficiency : Partner with terminals and supply teams to streamline operations and boost profitability. Own the Numbers : Take charge of P&L for each truck and delivery—your decisions will directly impact the bottom line. Ensure Compliance : Monitor and enforce DOT, OSHA, and hazardous materials regulations. Collaborate Across Teams : Work cross-functionally with analytics, safety, fleet, and sales teams to align goals and improve outcomes. Innovate & Improve : Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology integration to enhance logistics performance. 📈 Key Success Metrics On-time delivery and service recovery rates Cost-per-delivery and route optimization Driver performance and overtime control Regulatory compliance and safety adherence Customer satisfaction and retention 🧠 What You Bring Experience : Prior experience as a petroleum dispatcher is required; strong background in DOT and hazardous materials handling. Education : High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus). Tech Savvy : Proficient in logistics software and digital tools. Leadership : Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance. Analytical Thinking : Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Communication : Clear, confident communicator across all levels of the organization.
