Junior Civil Engineer - Military Aviation Focus

They are looking for a driven professional engineer to join their specialized military aviation team, where the role involves planning-level aviation assignments and civil engineering design for military clients. Responsibilities Participate in planning-level aviation assignments Perform basic civil engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting Assist in preparing specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projects - Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design team Participate in bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information, preparing design clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and submittals Attend site visits to assist in performing engineering services to include construction quality, acceptance testing and construction management activities Attend and participate in design team and client meetings Attend industry-level training and collaboration events Skills A passion for aviation Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) Familiarity or experience with Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE) United States Citizenship Benefits Medical Dental Vision Basic life insurance 401(k) plan The ability to purchase company stock at a discount Deferred compensation plan Executive Deferral Plan Unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees Seven paid holidays One floating holiday Caregiver leave Merit increases Performance discretionary bonus Stock Company Overview Jacobs leads the global professional services sector delivering solutions for a more connected, sustainable world.
