YouTube Video Editor for Luxury Travel Channel (Shorts + Long-Form, Script-Based)

YouTube Backup Video Editor + Shorts Editor (Ongoing Weekly Work) This is a YouTube performance-focused role. Editing decisions are driven by audience retention, pacing, hooks, and storytelling optimized for YouTube analytics — not cinematic or film-style editing. We are looking for a reliable YouTube video editor to support our growing YouTube channel, JetSetSibs – Luxury for Less. This is a backup / support editor role, not a full-time position. We already have a primary editor and are adding a second editor to help maintain consistency, create backup content, and support weekly production when needed. Our channel focuses on luxury travel, airport experiences, credit card benefits, and smart everyday spending strategies. ⸻ WEEKLY WORKLOAD • 1 Long-form YouTube video (8–12 minutes) • 2 YouTube Shorts per week This workload is consistent but limited in scope. ⸻ RESPONSIBILITIES • Edit videos following provided scripts exactly • Add captions and simple B-roll • Maintain clean, calm luxury-style editing • Deliver MP4 drafts for approval BEFORE publishing • Follow clear step-by-step instructions ⸻ STYLE REQUIREMENTS • Clean and professional editing (not flashy) • Strong opening hook (first 1–2 seconds) • Clear readable captions • Smooth pacing optimized for YouTube retention ⸻ IMPORTANT • This is a support role to help maintain posting consistency. • Work must be delivered on time each week. • Good communication is required. ⸻ WHAT WE PROVIDE • Scripts • Footage • Editing guidance • Thumbnail templates • Clear instructions We are looking for someone dependable who wants steady weekly work and a long-term collaboration.
