We Are Hiring: Assistant Editor (Project-Based) We are looking for an Assistant Editor to support commercial and documentary-style projects. This is a great entry-level role for editors who are starting out or currently studying filmmaking/editing and want real-world experience working with professional interview and B-roll footage. You will help with: Sorting and organizing the RAW interview and B-roll footage Laying usable footage out on a single timeline Color-coding best clips and adding markers to categorize content Preparing clean, organized footage in a single timeline for the Lead Editor This role is about organization, clarity, and attention to detail — helping set up projects so strong storytelling edits can happen. You should have: Basic editing experience and comfort working with large amounts of footage Strong organization skills Interest in documentary or story-driven content DaVinci Resolve preferred (other welcome) Availability for project-based work If you’re reliable, organized, and looking to build experience in documentary-style editing, apply with any relevant samples or class projects.
