U.S.-Licensed Accountant for Ad Hoc Consulting Support (Construction & Field Services Focus)

• *Job Opportunity: Licensed CPA for Accounting Support in Texas** We're looking for a U.S.-licensed accountant to provide on-call consulting support for accounting questions that fall outside the scope of our QuickBooks bookkeeper. This is a part-time, as-needed role — ideal for a CPA who enjoys helping small businesses navigate more complex or strategic issues. This is not a bookkeeping role. We’re seeking an experienced professional to advise on: GAAP-compliant accounting treatments Job costing and revenue recognition for field service and construction work Sales tax rules (especially Texas and multi-state exposure) Financial statement interpretation Chart of accounts structuring and expense categorization QuickBooks oversight and strategic use Requirements: Active CPA license or registration with a U.S. State Board of Accountancy (must provide proof upon request) Experience in construction and/or B2B facility maintenance or industrial field services Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop Responsive and able to assist with occasional questions or document reviews Able to explain technical topics in practical, business-friendly language Bonus if you have: Familiarity with Texas state tax rules or multi-state sales tax filing Experience supporting field service, industrial maintenance, or subcontractor firms Please include your state of licensure, summary of relevant industry experience, and availability.
