They are seeking a Transportation Engineering Technologist to assist in transportation planning and road and highway design projects, providing support in design, drafting, and coordination with engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Provide design and AutoCAD civil 3D support for transportation engineering projects
- Conducting CAD drafting and design
- Preparation of submission packages
- Technical research involving various roadway design manuals
- Aid in coordination between other engineering disciplines
Skills
- Candidates must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate from a Civil Engineering program with a focus in transportation engineering
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings is an asset
- Experience with the following software packages is an asset: Office 365 Applications (Excel, Word), Revu Bluebeam
- Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation is an asset
- A vehicle with a valid drivers license is an asset as it is a hybrid work-from-home position
