About the position The Credit Information Management Associate role within the Portfolio Finance team at JPMorgan Chase offers a unique opportunity to partner with the Business in managing credit information for the Credit Trading desk's Portfolio Financing business. This position involves screening new collateral requests, ensuring compliance with information barrier procedures, and managing financial information and legal documentation related to collateral asset tracking. Responsibilities • Provide close and critical support to the Corporate and Investment Bank's portfolio financing business, which involves the extension of customized, secured term loans to counterparties. , • Act as a 'gatekeeper' responsible for managing confidential information in coordination with Legal, Compliance, Trading, and Research teams. , • Serve as an intermediary between the desk and clients with a portfolio of assets. , • Coordinate and manage all documentation and communication between Sales, Trading, and external clients regarding collateral requests. , • Review and screen borrower information from the Credit Portfolio Group's clients, ensuring adherence to Compliance policies. , • Review and understand legal documents, including Credit Agreements and financial materials. , • Operate proactively to ensure timely delivery of credit agreement financial covenant reporting information. , • Navigate web-based Virtual Data Rooms to obtain and organize documentation. , • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with various teams to ensure proper documentation posting. , • Identify and address control gaps and efficiency opportunities. Requirements • Bachelor's degree , • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) , • 3 years of relevant financial operational experience , • General understanding of Finance and Loan Products , • Proven ability to collaborate with team members and senior management , • Strong oral and written communication skills , • Strong analytical capability , • Highly motivated individual with a team-oriented mindset , • Critical decision-making abilities , • Ability to learn quickly and self-motivate , • Meticulous mindset with strong organizational and time management skills. Nice-to-haves • Knowledge of the Syndicated Loan business , • Knowledge of Virtual Datarooms such as Intralinks, Debtdomain, and Syndtrak , • Experience reading and interpreting loan documentation and financial statements.
