Sacred Healing Lights International (SacredHLI) is a faith-based, mission-driven nonprofit providing telehealth behavioral health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services to communities across California. We operate under a Type-2 NPI telehealth group model, partnering with major payer networks statewide. Our care model is designed for clinical excellence, strong provider support, and long-term career fulfillment.
We are expanding rapidly and seeking Psychiatrists (MD/DO) who value meaningful work, flexible scheduling, and a supportive, well-structured telehealth environment.
• Position* : Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Telehealth Only (1099 Contractor)
You will provide psychiatric evaluations, follow-up medication management, and collaborative care services to Medi-Cal and commercial insurance clients across California. This role is 100% remote within the United States.
• What You Will Do*
Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations (60 minutes).
Provide ongoing medication management follow-ups (20–30 minutes).
Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners (NPs), therapists, and care coordinators.
Document encounters in our EHR (AdvancedMD).
Comply with payer authorization requirements and quality standards.
Participate in team meetings when needed.

Minimum: 8–10 hours/week
Full-time options available (up to 32 hours/week)

• Compensation*
• Hourly Range:*
$120 – $180 per hour (based on evaluation/follow-up mix)
• Equivalent ranges:*
$170–$220 per psychiatric evaluation
$120–$160 per follow-up visit
Paid monthly via direct deposit.
• Requirements*
MD or DO with active California medical license
• DEA certification*
Board Certification in Psychiatry (or Board Eligible within 12 months)
Clean NPDB report
Comfortable with telehealth platforms and EHR documentation
Reliable internet, webcam, and private HIPAA-compliant environment
• Preferred*
Experience with Medi-Cal, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), or telehealth
Child/Adolescent Psychiatry BC/BE (optional)
Interest in leadership or supervising NPs (additional compensation available)
