This is a remote position.
We are currently recruiting for a 6-month contract opportunity for a Technical Delivery Lead with a UK-based client.
This is an intermediate-level role, ideally suited to someone with 3–5 years’ experience in a technical environment, who is comfortable bridging the gap between product, engineering, and client stakeholders.
You’ll be joining an established UK AI consultancy focused on helping Small & Medium Businesses (SMEs) across a variety of sectors implement practical automation solutions and bespoke software tools. Their work is hands-on, commercially driven, and centred around delivering measurable operational efficiencies through AI and custom systems.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a developer or technical lead — you can read code and evaluate architectural decisions confidently.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, Azure Pipelines (or equivalent), and modern developer tooling.
- Ability to translate business needs into structured technical requirements and MVP definitions.
- Experience coordinating distributed or remote development teams without heavy process overhead.
- Excellent written communication — you’ll produce documentation, case studies, and client-facing specs regularly.
- Comfortable working across frontend, backend, APIs, and data flows at a technical discussion level.
- Tools: GitHub, Monday.com, Slack, Azure DevOps, n8n.
- Comfortabel working in a small, fast-paced environment.
- Own work-from-home setup (workspace with PC, internet, and backup power).
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML tooling, LLMs, embeddings, or document processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with n8n, Azure OpenAI, or similar automation/workflow platforms.
- Experience writing technical proposals or supporting pre-sales scoping.
- Light project management background (we’re not looking for Gantt charts, just someone who can keep things moving).
Working Arrangement
- Remote, with a preference for UK/European timezone overlap.
- Daily collaboration with the founder via Slack and video calls.
- Coordination with distributed developers across multiple timezones.
