About the Role: Market Manager
The Market Manager will be responsible for the examination, planning, and improvement of land products, services, and association marketing activities in allocated destinations for Sun Country Airlines. This role will also assist in negotiating agreements, promotions, and association marketing programs that ensure market competitiveness and enhance engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong and diverse skill set in relevant areas to drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage product and service partnerships to generate optimal land engagement
- Negotiate competitive rates, contract terms, and association marketing programs
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to create, execute, and deliver framework-wide, partner-inclusive consumer and trade marketing campaigns and promotions
- Create and maintain an in-depth knowledge of assigned products and services
- Work with Product Operations to ensure content is up-to-date and accurate
- Provide significant performance reporting to various partners to negotiate effectively
- Collaborate with partners and internal departments to ensure all receivables are being processed, executed, and funds collected
- Make recommendations and collaborate as appropriate to implement projects as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of two years of experience in the travel or hospitality industry
- A Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, make valid conclusions, and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel globally
