Job Description:
• Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities across the real estate ecosystem, developing new models beyond standard agreements
• Lead the full partnership lifecycle, from ideation and outreach to negotiation, contracting, and launch
• Shape and execute complex, differentiated deal structures that drive strategic value
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, operations, legal, finance, and sales teams to align resources and ensure successful partnership execution
• Build and maintain strong external relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for partners and driving joint go-to-market initiatives
• Pilot and scale innovative partnership models, adapting quickly based on learnings and market feedback
• Develop processes and frameworks to support the growth and evolution of Zillow’s partnership efforts
• Influence senior stakeholders by framing strategic rationale, opportunity sizing, and long-term business impact
• Assess the strategic rationale for partnership opportunities, including build/buy/partner analysis to determine when external collaboration is the right path
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or related roles
• Proven success in negotiating and executing deals, including creative structuring and multi-party coordination
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience aligning diverse stakeholders toward common goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage at both operational and executive levels
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and building new frameworks and processes in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of partner incentives and market dynamics
• Experience in real estate, proptech, or marketplace businesses is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business/strategy credentials preferred but not required.
