Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is a national, not-for-profit organization supporting healthcare providers across Canada. They are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Associate to join their Strategic Sourcing Operations team, responsible for reviewing summary documents, extracting key data points, and entering them into internal systems.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret summary documents to identify relevant data points
- Extract and validate numerical and textual information for system input
- Collaborate with sourcing team members to clarify ambiguous data
- Maintain documentation of data sources and entry decisions for audit purposes
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation
- Experience using ERP for data entry and management
- Ability to navigate and manage cloud-based collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams
- Understanding of basic database concepts and experience with data import/export processes
- Experience with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint)
- Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues related to data systems and escalate when needed
- Ability to interpret procurement or financial documents is a plus
- Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, or another related field
- 1 to 2 years in data management or related field
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data management systems
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with CRM systems or ERP platforms
- Familiarity document management systems (e.g., Sharepoint, AdobeSign)
- Experience in procurement, or finance, operations
- Familiarity with sourcing or contract documentation
- Certification in data analysis or document processing tools
