As we aggressively scale our global SaaS platform and lean into the next generation of field service innovation, we are looking for a Senior Director of FP&A who is more than a finance leader—we need a strategic architect. Reporting directly to the VP of FP&A, you will serve as the primary financial business partner across our Sales & Marketing and R&D organizations. This isn't a role for a passive reporter; it’s for a proactive advisor who can navigate complex data to drive independent, high-stakes decisions that directly influence our "Rule of 40" standing and long-term enterprise value. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - SaaS metrics & unit economics — Define, track, and communicate the KPIs that matter most: ARR, NRR, GRR, S&M ROI, and the full subscription-revenue picture. - Strategic business partnership — Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Sales, Marketing, and R&D — helping align go-to-market spend and R&D investment with long-term strategic goals. - Dynamic forecasting — Lead the evolution from static annual budgets to rolling forecasts with scenario modeling (Base / Best / Worst) that can respond to real-time market conditions. - Executive advisory — Bring clarity to complexity. Distill financial performance and investment rationale into crisp narratives for the C-suite and board. - Team leadership — Build and develop a high-performing FP&A team through mentorship, coaching, and a player/coach leadership style. - Operational excellence — Drive process improvement, data integrity, and automation across the finance tech stack — with AI as an accelerant, not an afterthought. WHO YOU ARE: - You're a strong communicator who can hold your own in an executive room and still roll up your sleeves with the team. - You navigate ambiguity well, resolve friction constructively, and know how to build trust across the org. - You're energized by fast-moving environments - and you know how to keep a team grounded when things shift quickly. - You've worked inside a PE-backed company and know what that operating environment demands - You have deep SaaS expertise — you've lived inside subscription-based revenue models and understand the levers that drive valuation - You have a track record of using AI to rethink how finance work gets done WHAT YOU'LL DO: - 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 4+ years in a senior management role. - Proficiency with cloud FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Vena) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Advanced financial modeling skills, including multi-year projections and three-statement fluency - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field A GLOBAL COMPANY WITH A LOCAL PRESENCE:    • We know that there are benefits of being in the office and working from home.  WorkWave promotes a healthy work/life balance and provides employees with the flexibility of collaborating in the office or the option to work virtually if desired.   • We have employees in over 30 states, 7 countries and many regional offices - each with their own set of perks and opportunities to give back to the local community.   • Whether you work remotely or take advantage of one of our offices, you’ll find a community of WorkWavers that value diversity, and care deeply about our products, clients, our communities and each other.
