Specialist, Content Producer

Job Summary: - Responsible for content production of selected digital and supplement content. - Responsible for applying content structure, enrichment standards, and other compliance standards (e.g. accessibility). - Responsible for digital courseware content that will be used in both print and digital delivery. - Responsible for identifying and managing vendors for quality compliance, schedule and budget, and provides feedback on performance. - Responsible for communication across cross-functional teams regarding workflow related to production of digital content to be used on Pearson systems and across multiple partner platforms. - Responsible for managing the change control process, and impartially resolving process issues and bottlenecks, as applicable. - Responsible for communicating with teams and building processes that support content development and production workflow. - Supports the delivery of efficacy requirements at product lifecycle stage gates in content development. - Includes in program planning the addition of content metadata and ensures that content is sufficiently enriched and appropriately formatted to deliver efficacy analytics for high impact on learner outcomes. - Liaise with partners at Pearson Vue, Pearson X, Pearson video studio & other internal/3rd party partners to help coordinate and schedule resources to build customer facing courseware products.   Quality Analysis: - Be responsible for the testing phase of the production process to ensure that the final products meet the company standards. - Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations.   Skills Profile: Required Knowledge and Experience - Minimum of 4-6 years managing small to medium-sized project/initiative teams using project management tool sets (smartsheets, Projects, etc.). - Proven track record of communicating and influencing senior level management and stakeholders. - Experience managing content and content workflows within technical environments - planning and delivering technical and print products and experience. - Proven success in risk identification, monitoring and mitigation and development and use of change control processes are especially important.   Formal education or equivalent - Strong academic grounding – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. - Project Management certification, PMP (PMI) or equivalent (not mandatory but good to have) - Optional: Agile education or certification.   Soft Skills - Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude when operating in an environment of continual flux. - Ability to influence and negotiate where necessary with peers, project team, sponsors/stakeholders and other internal teams as needed. - Ability to respond confidently to conflicts and manage situations positively, proactively escalating on-going issues. - Demonstrates highly active ownership of projects, ability to proactively assess and mitigate risk, and actively poses solutions to problems. - Communicates effectively (written and verbally) with peers, project team, sponsors/stakeholders. - Able to assess and manage across a full project breadth and depth, ensuring a successful delivery of products. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams delivering both digital and print product outputs. - Diligent attention to detail. - Strong organization skills: Self organizing and self-motivating. - Strong time management abilities - organizing tasks in a logical and efficient manner allowing for multi-tasking and making appropriate calls on prioritization. #LI-KS1
