Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases for Web, Apps, and API features.
• Conduct exploratory and regression testing.
• Perform API testing using Postman (collections, environments, basic scripts).
• Help develop and maintain basic automated test flows (e.g., Postman or JavaScript-based tools).
• Work closely with developers and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Write test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test summaries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.

 
Requirements

• Strong interest in software testing, both manual and automation.
• Experience with Postman for API testing (sending requests, using environments, writing basic test scripts).
• Familiarity with software QA concepts like test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript (especially for Postman scripting or test automation frameworks).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and structured thinking.
