We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager, Data Security and Governance to join our team. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and leading cross-organization security initiatives and solving security challenges within the AWS Partner Organization (APO). You will be responsible for designing, leading, and enhancing the data security program that is part of the overall data governance initiative within APO. This is an exciting and highly visible role that will directly influence the security postures for our APO products and services. You will regularly interact with world-class engineers and senior leadership, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, data, and solutions.
As a Senior Data Security Technical Program Manager, you will lead the data security program that is part of the overall data governance initiative within AWS Partner Organization (APO). You will help ensure our applications, services, and systems are designed and implemented to the highest security standards, resilient to modern threats, compliant with rigorous global regulatory requirements, and without sacrificing flexibility and speed needed to grow the business. You will collaborate with AWS Security teams, APO business leadership and technical staff, AWS legal, audit, and compliance teams to identify security gaps, vulnerabilities, and conduct security reviews across all elements of the AWS Partner Organization.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and leadership skills. You should be a strategic thinker with the ability to design and implement data security programs and initiatives. You should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and engineering stakeholders. You should be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. You should also have a strong understanding of security principles, including least privileged access and need-to-know security principles.
