Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Supply Chain Management Operations Data Analytics Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business intelligence and strategic decision-making in our Supply Chain Department. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing complex data using techniques such as data mining, data modeling, and cost or gain analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Designing and creating data visualizations in Tableau or other visualization tools to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Developing and implementing business intelligence solutions to meet the needs of internal and external customers
- Creating and optimizing processes for data analysis and reporting to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Providing subject matter expertise and data extraction, collection, integration, and analysis from multiple data sources
- Developing streamlined data blending and manipulation workflows to reduce manual processes
- Supporting the SCM Department and internal customers by providing reporting, analysis, dashboard development, and alertness development
- Collaborating with team members and across departments on strategic projects
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Advanced-degree experience in analytical, data science, or data-centric environments
- Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and data architecture
- Experience with data evaluation and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data management tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata
- Knowledge of ETL functionality and data warehousing principles
- Experience with leading medium-scale enterprise projects
