Senior Manager, Finance

• This role is a hybrid position, local to our Portage, MI office. (2-3 days on-site) As a Senior Manager, Finance you will be accountable for budget and policy recommendations and medium-term planning. You'll also analyze the organization's revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast it's short, medium, and long-term cash flow position. What you will do: • Lead business partnering with functional leaders and cost center owners, support making sound business decisions in departmental and business unit activities. • Perform ad-hoc operational analysis to support decision making. Make recommendations to senior management about the financial implications of proposed investments and transactions. • Inspire business partners to act like business owners through financial education and training • Support new product development financial business case modeling and integrate models in the long-range financial plan and reconcile long term supply capacity • Execute the annual budget, periodic projection and reporting of actual financial results for US operations and coordinates similar activities with European and Canadian counterparts • Interpret operating results and progress toward financial objectives in annual budgets, periodic projections, and strategic plans. • Exercise financial control to ensure investment, expenditure, and ROI goals are met • Represent Finance in the integrated business planning process with focus on demand planning reconciliation with financial goals, product life cycle management, and efficient inventory management and related profit implications • Manage general accounting activities in collaboration with supporting Finance Centers • Accountable for complying with Sarbanes-Oxley and all other applicable financial laws and regulations and company policies What you need: • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required • 10+ years relevant experience required. Preferred • CPA or CMA preferred • Finance experience in matrixed environment (global organization) • SAP or BPC experience • Power BI experience Apply Job!
