Senior Commissions Accountant - 100% REMOTE - $100K-$115K + Bonus

Outstanding and very reputable, $600mm SaaS Technology company based out of Utah, is looking for a Senior Accountant in thier Commissions group, for an immediate need. Duties: • Accounting for Commissions (Employee) and Commission Plans • Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting. • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management • Prepare and file consortium and royalty reports with multiple states and organizations. • Maintain contract repository. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting. • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of global finance and general ledger reporting structure. • Perform as a key resource in the month end close process. • Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations. • Lead certain ongoing processes including vendor management. • Commissions Accounting along with Corporate G/L • Assist with the external financial statement audit. • Participate in process improvement projects within the finance team. • Reports to Accounting Manager / Controller • Assisting the Accounting Director, Tax Director, and other finance managers with cross-functional and compliance-based projects Qualifications • BS in Accounting, Masters preferred. • 3-5 years of Accounting and Finance experience preferred • CPA preferred or in process • Strong understanding of accounting theory and practices. • Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applications. • Proficient in ERP software experience.
