Job Description:
• Develop and execute strategies that make it easier for clients, prospects, and consultants to buy products from Evernorth.
• Build expanded and deepened consultant relationships and develop external forums for regular, specific, and actionable feedback/insights from consultants on our products, roadmaps, and their clients' biggest challenges.
• Ensure that that Evernorth product roadmaps are directly influenced by market insights and consultant feedback.
• Contribute to the build of a robust product upsell pipeline and continually refine/enrich pipeline by working closely with Sales, Account Teams, Product, and other teams as appropriate.
• Share market insights with Evernorth leadership teams and update those teams on the actions taken to address those insights.
• Develop a deep understanding of prioritized Evernorth products and roadmaps.
• Maximize cross-enterprise capabilities to ensure Evernorth Consultant Strategy is optimally leveraging support from other teams such as marketing, sales enablement, sales operations, data/analytics, competitive intelligence, and other consultant strategy teams.
Requirements:
• Several years’ relevant experience in a product, sales, business development, strategy, consulting and/or client service role
• Clinical experience/pharmacist background is preferred but not required; a strong ability to speak to the clinical details of our programs will be essential
• Proven track record of building new relationships in a complex business-to-business selling environment
• Strong financial skills including understanding of PBM and product economics as well as contracting strategies to support sales growth.
• The ability to influence decision makers across the enterprise including senior leaders.
• A self-directed ability to use proper judgment to plan, prioritize, and accomplish goals
• Ability to create and execute strategic plans for assigned firms based on key metrics and market dynamics
• Leadership skills, team-orientation, a proactive management style and a growth mindset
• Knowledge of employee benefits and PBM marketplace
• Strategic approach to consultant relationship management; applies best practices across consultant relationships
• Highly effective cross-functional collaboration to drive process, strategy & consultant satisfaction
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with a diverse stakeholder group.
