The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and forward‑thinking, with the ability to anticipate threats, streamline processes, and continuously improve SOC maturity. Key Responsibilities • Lead and mature the SOC’s Incident Response (IR) function, ensuring rapid, coordinated, and effective response to security events. • Oversee day‑to‑day SOC operations, ensuring high-quality monitoring, triage, escalation, and resolution of security incidents. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across SOC processes, tooling, and operational workflows. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance detection capabilities, reduce false positives, and strengthen overall security posture. • Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • Mentor and guide SOC analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and operational excellence. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong leadership experience within a SOC environment. • Demonstrated expertise in leading Incident Response activities end‑to‑end. • Highly detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to identifying risks and operational gaps. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and drive decisions. • Forward‑looking mindset with a passion for improving SOC operations, processes, and capabilities.
