Security Dispatcher- Och St. Anne- PRN

About the position Responsibilities • Answer internal and external calls for Security Operations. • Dispatch security officers to calls for service based on the information obtained from callers. • Respond to all emergency situations and hospital/clinic codes. • Monitor hospital/clinic video screens and maintain security logs. • Handle all calls and on-call for security and emergency preparedness for the main campus and regional clinics. • Make notifications for security incidents and emergency preparedness issues. Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent. • 1 year experience as a telephone operator, dispatcher, or related experience. • International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification to be obtained within 90 days of promotion/hire. • Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard for data entry and retrieval of patient information. • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
