Overview: Position: Scientific Director Of Oligonucleotide Drug Discovery Work Location: United States (Remote/Home-Based)   Position Overview:  We are seeking a strategic scientific leader to drive our Oligonucleotide Drug Discovery platform. This individual will focus on scientific strategy, client engagement, and program communication, acting as a key scientific voice and partner both internally and externally. The role requires deep expertise in Oligonucleotide Drug Discovery, and the ability to translate science into business growth. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the oligonucleotide drug discovery platform. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their scientific needs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Provide scientific leadership and guidance across projects, fostering innovation and ensuring scientific rigor. - Monitor emerging scientific trends and breakthroughs in oligonucleotide therapeutics, and recommend new capabilities or approaches. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to align strategies and create synergies across the organization. - Support BD and marketing efforts through scientific presentations, client meetings, and contributions to proposals and marketing materials. - Ensure clear and effective communication of program updates, data, and scientific insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Qualifications: - PhD. in biology or a relevant major with 6+ years of working experience in oligonucleotide drug discovery or related researches in industrial or academic institutes. Experience in siRNA or ASO focused industrial company is preferred.. - Comprehensive knowledge of the discovery of various oligonucleotide drugs, especially ASO and siRNA, including drug design, chemical modification, delivery system, in vitro and in vivo evaluations, ADME/PK and toxicology, bioanalysis, bioinformatics for oligonucleotide agents. - Familiar with the discovery and development of therapeutic oligonucleotides, especially ASO and siRNA agents. - A proven track record of scientific publications on ASO, siRNA, mRNA or other RNA drug discovery. - High motivation to embrace new technologies and tools. - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams. - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and support business growth through scientific excellence. - Strategic mindset with experience in client-facing
