As a Texas RFD, you will support families and our care team by reviewing cremation documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating remotely as a licensed funeral director. We’re now expanding and seeking licensed funeral directors to join us in delivering compassionate, modern care. This is an hourly, part-time position ideal for someone who wants to contribute their expertise while enjoying autonomy and meaningful work — wherever they live. We are expanding to the following areas and looking for Responsible Funeral Directors Licensed in the following state(s): - Texas What You’ll Do - Review and sign cremation documentation to ensure compliance with local Texas regulations. - Collaborate remotely with our care team to support families with timely, professional services. - Occasionally coordinate the release or delivery of cremated remains, when needed. - Help optimize and refine internal systems and processes as we grow in new states. This Role Might Be For You If You... - Are licensed as a funeral director in Texas (required). - Are open to remote work and enjoy the freedom to structure your day. - Like problem-solving and can navigate red tape with grace and persistence. - Communicate clearly and compassionately across mediums — phone, email, and in person. - Thrive in a start-up environment and love building, experimenting, and improving. - Are motivated by purpose-driven work that makes life easier for families during a difficult time. - Have experience working in direct cremation, funeral homes, or similar care roles. Bonus Points If You... - Hold funeral director licenses in multiple states. - Have worked in a tech-forward or startup funeral setting. - Are excited to help shape the future of death care.
