As a member of our Optum Behavioral Care Team, you will be an integral part of our vision to transform behavioral health care. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that addresses the physical, mental, and social needs of our patients.
We offer a flexible and remote work environment, with the opportunity to work from anywhere in the U.S. (must be licensed in New York). Our therapists enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $40-$60 per session, dependent on state of residence, and a minimum of 10 hours per week within the hours of 9am-8pm local time. You will have the autonomy to choose your schedule, with the flexibility to work weekdays or weekends.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver remote care through outcome-based, short-term treatment programs
- Monitor participant progress and provide follow-up communications and care coordination recommendations
- Document session notes and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality
- Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisors and team members
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in New York (LCSW, LMHC, or state equivalent)
- Ability to maintain a consistent schedule for patients (10+ hours/week)
- Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting contract
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical experience conducting psychotherapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other solution-focused approaches
- Interest in obtaining licensure in other states
