Remote Staff Accountant

A rapidly growing Private Equity-backed company with over $200M in revenue is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate finance team. With a national footprint built through strategic acquisitions, the company offers a high-growth environment, modern tools, and a team-first culture. This is a fully remote role reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, who is based in the Northeast. The company offers a flexible, results-driven work environment. Responsibilities: • Assist with month-end close processes, journal entries, and financial schedules • Reconcile weekly bank activity and support proper coding of transactions • Maintain fixed asset records and track capital expenditures • Support payroll entries, accruals, and reconciliation efforts • Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal control documentation • Generate financial reports and support ad hoc analysis What Were Looking For: • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience • Strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency • Self-motivated with a desire to grow within a fast-paced team • Experience in public accounting, service-based businesses, or inventory accounting is a plus • CPA or CPA track preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits: • Base salary in the $65K-$75K range • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Health savings account and voluntary benefits • Life and disability coverage • 401(k) with employer match and discretionary contributions • Paid time off and support for continuing education To Apply: Please send your resume to Chris Puls at [email protected] Apply tot his job
