About the Role:
We're looking for a talented Senior Analyst to join our Carrier Retailing team within the Global Sales and Distribution organization. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing Carrier Retailing strategies, maintaining relationships, and negotiating contracts with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), online booking tools (OBT), and other industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and strengthen key relationships with major GDS partners (account management)
- Manage all aspects of GDS/NDC planning, pricing, and monthly reporting processes
- Assist with financial modeling of strategies and agreements to support decision-making during GDS and NDC negotiations
- Develop an understanding of cost-driving cycles and products to guide and influence independent direction
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate key opportunities for Distribution Strategy, either financially, commercially, or functionally
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders in the broader Global Sales organization, as well as Finance, Revenue Management, Digital Channels, AAdvantage, and other AA departments to identify opportunities and risks related to product distribution and strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
- 2 years of related experience
- Experience with SQL
- Preferred qualifications: experience in Revenue Management, Sales, or Finance
