The role involves ensuring the quality of multilingual healthcare materials by conducting quality control, proofreading, and providing feedback on project files.
Responsibilities
• Conduct quality control of project files, reviewing instructions, glossaries, style guides, and client specifications
• Run spell checks, verify key information (e.g., names, dates, numbers), and complete a final read-through of the content
• Provide constructive feedback highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement
• Fix formatting issues during the DTP stage using advanced Word skills
• Respond to PM inquiries and support project completion and client requests as needed
• Proofread final content prior to delivery, identifying potential mistranslations, inaccuracies, typos, or overlooked issues from previous stages
Skills
• Solid experience in healthcare is preferred
• Previous translation experience and knowledge of CAT tools
• Advanced English skills (written and spoken)
• Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, especially formatting
• Based in LATAM
