Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NewtekOne is a financial holding company providing a range of business solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. They are seeking a Payroll Sales Solution Specialist who will develop new business opportunities, manage client proposals, and close payroll solutions through a consultative sales approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities with existing clients to expand our clientele and build our business
- Prepare the client proposals using pricing within set guidelines
- Commit to departmental and individual quotas/goals
- Manage and close inbound and internal payroll referrals using a consultative, sales-first approach
- Conduct discovery conversations with business owners and decision-makers to assess payroll and HR needs
- Present and close payroll solutions using instant quoting and simplified pricing models
- Own the sales process from initial contact through closing and handoff
- Maintain a consistent pipeline and meet volume-based production goals
- Engage in frequent daily client conversations in a fast-paced sales environment
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional Newtek solutions, including banking, lending, insurance, payments, and benefits
- Collaborate closely with internal relationship managers and partners to support overall client growth
Skills
- High School or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 months of related B2B preferably in payroll
- Comfortable with being on video camera while engaging with clients/customers, attending company/department meetings, etc. as required
- Experience in business development/lead generation, business consulting, sales and marketing preferred
- Excellent professional oral, written and presentation skills
- Bilingual a plus or may be required based on company needs
- Prior experience in payroll sales, HCM sales, or related B2B SaaS sales
- Strong persuasion and closing skills, particularly in fast-moving sales cycles
- Comfortable managing a high volume of small to mid-sized business opportunities
- Ability to clearly explain pricing and value to business owners
- Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- College degree preferred but not required; relevant sales experience is more important
