CPA required (or soon to have OK) Job Type: • Full-time Location Type: Remote: open to residents of specific US states Responsibilities • Assist in preparing individual income tax returns. • Process payroll on behalf of clients. • Prepare and file 1040 tax returns and other tax forms, inc. tax equalization calculations. • Maintain payroll operations by collecting and entering data. • Assist in responding to notices and act as a client representative with tax authorities. Requirements • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, or a payroll concentration within an accounting program from an accredited college/university. • CPA or EA license (or qualified to sit for the CPA exam) • Business level proficiency in Japanese and English is required.
