[Remote] Mobile Deposit Representative

The Mobile Deposit Representative is responsible for auditing mobile deposits for accuracy, approving or discarding items as appropriate, and logging discarded items. Responsibilities - Processes transactions in mobile payment and deposit system - Verify all points of negotiability on mobile deposits as well as member information - Secure approval for transactions that are beyond the jobs authority and ensure accuracy of all processes - Examine all checks received and compare to known fraudulent members and checks, understand the pattern with regards to protecting Teachers against fraudulent rings, accurately discard suspected fraudulent checks and follow procedures in place to submit tickets to the Fraud Department for review - Assist staff with account research, review all notes for each member, and respond to internal email inquiries related to mobiles deposits - Comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines - Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor Skills - A high school education or GED required - Minimum of one year of general work experience preferred - Financial Services experience preferred Benefits - Annual discretionary bonus program - Quarterly performance incentives - Paid time off for vacation, personal days, and holidays - 401(k) company contribution - Teachers pays 100% of Dental & Vision premium - Tuition reimbursement is offered to full-time employees - Exclusive employee discount of 0.96% APR on credit card loans and a 1.00% APR on all other loans through Teachers Company Overview - Teachers Federal Credit Union is a company which develops finance related apps for iPhone It was founded in 1952, and is headquartered in Farmingville, New York, USA, with a workforce of 501-1000 employees.
