The Mobile Deposit Representative is responsible for auditing mobile deposits for accuracy, approving or discarding items as appropriate, and logging discarded items.
Responsibilities
- Processes transactions in mobile payment and deposit system
- Verify all points of negotiability on mobile deposits as well as member information
- Secure approval for transactions that are beyond the jobs authority and ensure accuracy of all processes
- Examine all checks received and compare to known fraudulent members and checks, understand the pattern with regards to protecting Teachers against fraudulent rings, accurately discard suspected fraudulent checks and follow procedures in place to submit tickets to the Fraud Department for review
- Assist staff with account research, review all notes for each member, and respond to internal email inquiries related to mobiles deposits
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor
Skills
- A high school education or GED required
- Minimum of one year of general work experience preferred
- Financial Services experience preferred
