About the Role:
As an iOS Home Video Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and secure video processing and streaming solutions for HomeKit-enabled devices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences
- Optimizing application performance, ensuring fast live video start and rapid access to recorded video clips
- Working with various video codecs, compression algorithms, and streaming protocols to ensure high-quality video transmission and reception
- Developing and maintaining software architectures, frameworks, and tools to support the growth of the Home ecosystem
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on video processing, streaming, and security
- Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and relevant development tools and frameworks
- Excellent understanding of video codecs, compression algorithms, and streaming protocols
