Remote Business Immigration Case Manager / Paralegal (Independent Contractor – B2B, Per-Case)

We are seeking an experienced independent contractor (B2B) Business Immigration Case Manager / Paralegal who operates their own business and provides immigration support services to law firms on a per-case, flat-fee basis. This is not an employment position. This is a contractor-based (B2B) collaboration, project-based, fully remote. Contractors may work with other attorneys and firms. ⸻ Engagement Model • Independent Contractor (B2B / 1099) • Per case / flat fee compensation • No hourly employment, no benefits • No exclusivity – you may work with other law firms • Fully remote • Flexible workload based on availability and expertise ⸻ Scope of Work The contractor will independently manage immigration cases from start to finish, including: • End-to-end immigration case preparation and management • Case strategy support in accordance with attorney guidance • Preparing individualized document and evidence checklists • Collecting, organizing, and reviewing supporting documentation • Drafting immigration-related materials, including: • Petition support letters • Personal statements • Reference letters • Indexed tables of contents • Preparing complete filing packages for attorney’s final review and submission to USCIS • Client communication related to document collection and case progress • Close collaboration with the attorney (no legal advice provided independently) ⸻ Practice Areas / Visa Types Contractors may specialize in one or more of the following (no requirement to handle all): • H-1B • L-1 • O-1 • E-2 • TN • P-1 and P-3 • EB-1A • EB-1C • EB-2 (including EB-2 NIW) • EB-3 • and other employment-based visas ⸻ Requirements • Minimum 4 years of experience in U.S. immigration law • Strong knowledge of USCIS procedures, forms, and documentation • Excellent English writing skills (essential) • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks • Operates as an independent business / contractor and able to invoice on a B2B basis • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality • Additional language proficiency is a plus, but not required ⸻ Compensation • Per case / flat fee • Fees agreed upon in advance based on: • Case type • Scope of work • Level of independence and experience ________ This Role Is Not a Fit For • Candidates seeking a W-2 employment position • Junior-level candidates requiring close supervision • Individuals without hands-on experience independently preparing immigration filings Job Type: Contract Pay: $50.00 - $120.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Work from home Work Location: Remote Apply Now Apply Now
