QuickBooks Accountant & Bookkeeper (Remote, Part-Time) - Contract to Hire

We are looking for a QuickBooks Accountant and Bookkeeper to join our team and help us maintain accurate financial records. Role Overview As a QuickBooks Accountant & Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing our accounting tasks using QuickBooks. Your primary duties will include maintaining financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping, and catching up on a backlog of financial data. This role will start with 5 hours per week of work, with potential for more hours as needed. Responsibilities: - Enter financial data from statements and CSV files into QuickBooks manually (no API to connect to Middlefield). - Catch up on the bookkeeping backlog to ensure all records are up-to-date. - Maintain accurate and organized financial records. - Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial records. - Communicate regularly with the team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Qualifications: - Proven experience in QuickBooks accounting and bookkeeping. - Ability to manually input data from statements and CSV files into QuickBooks. - Attention to detail and ability to handle bookkeeping backlogs. - Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. - Previous experience with accounting in a remote environment is a plus.
