Quality Control Auditor (CPA)

Job Description: We are a growing accounting firm looking for an experienced CPA to perform quality reviews of audit engagements. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in auditing and quality reviews, with a strong understanding of GAAP, auditing standards, and best practices. Responsibilities: • Review audit files and reports to ensure compliance with professional standards • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements in audit documentation and processes • Ensure audit reports are accurate, clear, and in line with firm standards and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with audit teams to resolve any issues and maintain high-quality service delivery • Stay updated on changes in auditing standards and regulations Requirements: • Licensed CPA with 3+ years of experience in auditing and quality reviews • Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback • Experience working with nonprofit audits is a plus Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience with review of audits for compliance with government or nonprofit entities • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Familiarity with remote audit software and tools This is a flexible, remote, as-need basis role.
