Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Build and support BDD frameworks using Cucumber
• Execute regression and smoke test suites, analyze failures, and drive defect resolution
• Participate in code reviews and follow Git-based workflows
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in test automation
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), collections, and exception handling
• Hands-on experience with Selenium (locators, waits, Page Object Model)
• Experience writing Gherkin scenarios and mapping them to step definitions
• Proficiency with Git (branching, commits, pull requests)
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of API testing
• Experience with cloud platforms or parallel execution tools is a plus
