POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists Principal Investigator(s) in administering and scoring neuropsychological tests, collecting data, conducting preliminary statistical analyses in coordination with statistical team.
- Conducts and scores neuropsychological assessments in compliance with study protocols;
- Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection;
- Review, and audit data for accuracy; follow up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies;
- Works with statistical team to perform analyses;
- Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development;
- Manages research databases using Excel, and other statistical or data management programs;
- Organizes and prepares grant-related documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions. May write reports to present at meeting;
- Demonstrates willingness to learn phlebotomy techniques necessary to fulfill project needs;
- Perform other related duties as assigned; and,
- May require off-campus site visits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required. Coursework in Psychology preferred
- Major in Neuroscience is preferred
- Experience of working in a Neuroscience Laboratory preferred
- Experience with software programs such as excel, SSPS, and matlab preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent organizational, oral, written and analytical communications skills; strong database management and clear understanding of clinical and research databases
- Strong project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows and Mac operating systems

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
